[Ohm Resistance // KY]

A veteran of the US DnB scene, Temulent became synonymous with the Ohm Resistance sound: Splintered breaks, savage bass and ominous atmospheres that bridged the gap between the dance and killing floor.

Progressive Illness III comes over a decade since its previous installment with a sound and approach that is anything but retro. Serving up seven paranoid, techno-laced storms, it's a hellish ride through the subconscious of one of American Drum and Bass' most innovative and reckless sonic architects.

Love Hz is very excited to have Temulent back for more of that Ohm Resistance sound.

Russell Gaskins (aka Doombox) is a bass music producer from Midwest, USA. Russell acquired his first drumset at the age of 16 and started playing in Hardcore and Metal bands until 2003. In the summer of 2004 he started mixing on turntables and producing drum & bass tunes. 2005 saw Russell signed to Foulplay Records under the name Sighnature, featuring releases with artists such as Mumblz, Zardonic, and Ca2K. Shortly after, Russell adopted the name Doombox, and started releasing dubstep tracks on Crunk Funk Music. Doombox has been a steady fixture in the Midwest bass music circuit, playing alongside the likes of Spor, Caspa, Evol Intent, Gein, Doormouse, 12 Planet, SPL, and many more.

It's also Russell's motherfucking birthday, so you know the drill. Drive drunk and poop your pants. Doombox is in the house.

[Soldermonster // St. Louis]

Dustin E is one of the first St. Louis Drum & Bass producers to make a significant dent in the worldwide D&B scene. His style is uncompromising, with his productions embodying hardcore attitude by incorporating a unique flavor of brutal and overdriving breakbeats, sickly industrial-essque basslines and distorted atmospherics. His efforts culminated in one of the first Therapy Sessions in the United States, and proved to be St. Louis’s largest Drum & Bass event to date. After taking time off to hone his skills as a tattoo artist, Dustin E is back on the music scene with a vengeance.

From the days of UniOvOne and Panzer Incus, Jeff Wood continues to push the harder sounds of Drum & Bass. Tonight, Jeff will be celebrating his birthday with a set of floorstompers from the darkest depths of his crates.
